Bookkeeper

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Handles all facets of Accounts Payable including:
    • Matching invoices versus purchase orders
    • Entering payables into Quick Books
    • Preparing invoices to be paid
  • Provides Data Entry related to Key Performance Indicators including:
    • New members
    • Cancelled members
    • Cashflow/payments from members
  • Other Data Entry work includes:
    • Marketing data
    • Produce and services data
    • Other projects and reporting analysis as directed
  • Provides financial analysis on all data to provide business intelligence to owners
  • May assist with other accounting functions in the future including:
    • Prepare monthly financial statements
    • Prepare monthly tax reports
    • Provide payroll and accounting administrative support to owners
  • Assists with general admin support
  • Identify issues that cannot be resolved remotely in a quick and efficient manner.

Key Qualifications include the following:

  • 3-5 years of Bookkeeping experience
  • Intermediate Excel (or better)
  • QBO
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Will have some communication with vendors
    • Will need frequent communication with owners
  • Pro-active – be sure to ask questions if not fully understanding
  • Provide insight from data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable
