Job Description:
One of the primary job functions is A/P and A/R, although there will be many other related tasks that need to be performed on a regular basis. Note: work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supports many facets of accounting and related tasks including clerical tasks such as accounts payables (~100 monthly invoices) accounts receivables (10 large clients), invoicing, cash posting and basic bookkeeping.
- Handles many functions within Accounts Payable, including entering payables, updating pricing, entering new vendors etc.
- General Ledger coding
- Reconciles bank statements and credit card statements
- Prepares monthly financial statements, including income statements and updating balance sheets
- May provide payroll support
- Prepares monthly sales tax reports
- May assist with general admin support
- Handles accounting related projects
- Fluency in English writing and speaking are required.
Key Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of Bookkeeping experience
- Intermediate QuickBooks Enterprise or QBO
- Experience with Sage Intacct is a “nice to have”
- Intermediate Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable
- Demonstrated history of working US hours
