Digital Marketing Specialist

Summary:

MCVO’s Digital Marketing Specialist develops, implements and provides on-going management of our client’s online marketing presence on both Social Media, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

SEO/ SEM:

  • Optimizes client web sites for the purpose of getting freetraffic from search engines (SEO).
  • Understands Search engine crawlers and how these increases the chances of ranking higher in online searches.
  • Implements 2 main pillars of SEO, what is called on-site SEO and off-site SEO. On-Site SEO are rules that can apply on websites or blogs so that it’s search engine friendlyOff-site SEOrefers to the process of getting votes from other web 
  • Generates more visibility in search engines either by getting more free traffic (SEO) or paid traffic (Paid search advertising).

Social Media:

  • Provide unparalleled customer experience support remotely to service our US-based clients.
  • High level of English written and speaking language communication and follow- up skills 
  • Manages, maintains and monitors Social Media sites and consistently updates and controls content and design of sites.
  • Generates reports and tracks performance of engagements, ads, etc.
  • Ensures coordination of all social media are made within designated response times
  • Writes rich contents for blogs, FBs, Twitter, and other sites

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University preferred; and/or a combination of education and experience. 

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to understand product marketing materials.  Ability to write simple correspondence with excellent sense and usage of English grammar.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group.

Computer and other Technical Skills: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Internet software; Order processing systems, Database software, Customer Relationship Management Software and Microsoft Outlook. Proficiency in the realm of digital marketing a must.
