Mid Level IT/Network Administrator

Job Summary:

To monitor and maintain daily operations of company’s computer systems and networks, diagnose hardware and software faults include resolving network issues and configuring operating systems. 

Provide first level hardware, software, and/or network support to computer users using documented procedures and available tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and manage all communication and resolve networking problems through effective implementation of preventive measures for IT network.
    • Analyze IT network systems and ensure compliance to all IT standard practices.
    • Assess the company’s network and computer system needs.
    • Respond to and complete IT incident tickets & service request in a timely manner, escalating larger or more complex issues to appropriate IT team.
    • Set up and move workstations; repair PCs; image PCs; and troubleshoot printer problems and network connectivity issues of minimal complexity.
    • Install software, and telecommunications services such as computers, system software and hardware, and cabling as requested.
    • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
    • Ensure security and privacy of network and computer systems.
    • Provide guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
    • Maintain records/logs of repair and fixes and maintenance schedule.
    • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place order.
    • Assist users and provide PC, laptop, printer, phone system and related technical support.
    • Inspect and recommend appropriate installation of operating systems and other application and monitor effects on the system.
    • Determine and maintain all programs according to company and vendor’s standards.
    • Prepare and maintain all records and files in relation to IT assets, network performance and problems.
    • Prepare and send report for ISP downtime, server maintenance and other related technical incidents.
    • Document all reported incidents and actions taken in response.
    • Monitor all medium to standard technical issues and provide technical support for same.
    • Ensure optimal level of support service and resolve all client request and incidents.
    • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
    • Willing to work on-site and shifting schedule

Qualifications:

  • Degree of any Computer Science or any IT related course
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City
  • 4-5 years Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer – Network, Windows and Linux Server, Firewall, Hardware and Software
  • Can Explain his/her area of expertise clearly to others
  • With good oral and written English communication
