Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist the CEO in providing services to CLP clients by providing solid accounting and analysis support.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Gross margin analysis for clients.
- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
- Manage client accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Assist with payroll review and submissions.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Assist in preparing documents in support of audits and tax preparation.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Provide Controller Support for Internal CLP Operations
- Managing all finance and accounting operations
- Support month-end closing processes for company.
- Analyze gross margins on client engagements.
- Weekly time report reviews with CEO to monitor utilization.
- Additional controller duties as necessary
Key Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
- 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- 2 years’ experience working with US clients.
- Intermediate QuickBooks Desktop or QBO
- Intermediate Excel and Google Sheets
